UC-36 Garlic Undercutter
The UC-36 runs a 36-inch blade under the bed at harvest, lifting and loosening the soil so garlic pulls out clean and intact by hand instead of tearing off at the neck. It suits narrower beds and smaller tractors.

Why undercut before pulling
Garlic is harvested by the neck. If the soil has not been loosened, the neck takes the full load and a percentage of your crop tears off and stays in the ground — or arrives at the wash station bruised.
Running the undercutter ahead of the crew turns hand-pulling from a wrestling match into a lift. It is the difference between a harvest crew that lasts a full day and one that slows down after two hours.
